Can you believe it - Hudson is 2 months old! We had his 2 month appointment this Tuesday and he is now 10 pounds 7 oz. and is 22 1/2 in long. The doctor was very pleased with how he is growing and says he is very strong. Hudson loves to just take everything in. He smiles alot now and interacts more. He is doing more 5 hour stretches at night. Yeah! Hudson is on a soy trial right now to try to get off the hypoallergenic formula - so far so good! He definitely has stolen our hearts.
One funny thing about Lilly. She decided one afternoon while I was feeding Hudson to put all of her stuffed animals in time out. One by one, she said "time out....sit bottom....be nice." Then she would walk away. The she came back and gave each one a hug and said "say sorry." This is an abbreviated version of our time out process - at least she knows what time out is!Thursday, January 29, 2009

Fancy Nancy and Smiles
Last weekend Mimi and Papa came for a visit, they needed a grandkid fix! We had a good time just hanging out at home.
Lilly loves dressing up (can you tell?), dancing, singing, and her Fancy Nancy books. This is her being silly.
Hudson has started to make cooing noises and likes to give us those wonderful gummy smiles that warm your heart.
One first, Lilly finally asked to hold Hudson. We had not pushed her to do this since he was born, but one night this week, she asked on her own - so here is the best take we could get!

Happy New Year
Our New Year was pretty low key. We had nachos for dinner and watched Hancock with superhero Will Smith inbetween feedings and diaper changes. We went to bed at 10:30, of course we were up and down with Hudson during the night.
Thanks for all your prayers for Hudson - he is doing better. We have reduced his breathing treatments to 2 times a day and seeing how he does with that. If he is still having trouble, we will go in again next week. He is eating great right now! Another praise, I was afraid he had lost a lot of weight during the not eating part of his sickness. We borrowed an infant scale and he is up to around 9 lb. 5 oz. Yeah! He is such a sweetheart!
We celebrated Brian's 30th Birthday on Sunday! Happy Birthday My Mr. Wonderful!. Brian's parents came on Saturday and let us go out. We returned a few Christmas presents and ate out with Shana and Cody. We also got to go see a wonderful movie - a must see for all dog lovers. We saw Marley and Me, a funny, romantic, and sad movie. Since we have a lab, it was pretty true in some parts - now when Dakota acts up, I saw she has had a Marley moment. I am so lucky to be married to a wonderful man like Brian.
Lilly started MDO again this week after the holiday break - I think she was very ready to get back into her school routine! She wore her backpack alot during the break!
Happy New Years Everyone!
