3 months old!
Can you believe Hudson is 3 months old? He is growing so fast! With his dark hair and piercing blue eye stare (which is turning kind of greenish now), he is very handsome. He has cutey chubby cheeks and chubby legs now - really filling out! Hudson sleeps well at night - from about 8 to 7 in the morning. yeah! Naps are another story, I think second children are just harder to get regular naps because your schedule involves two and not just one. We do get some cat naps in the car seat or stroller if we are out running errands and try to get a nap in our crib, bouncy or swing in the afternoon. Hudson still enjoys his bottles and wants to be held during meal times (maybe he wants to eat our real food too!) He is very alert and just takes everything in. He can hold a rattle or rings in his hands for a while and occasionally likes tummy time, sometimes not. He loves to try to talk, especially if you talk back to him, sooo cute! He continues to be a smiley baby. Happy 3 month Hudson.
Here is Lilly dressed in her cowgirl duds for rodeo day at school! Yee- haw! Pray that one of her tonsils shrinks to normal size so we don't have to visit an ENT - it does not bother her, just is bigger.

Baby Bible Presentation
This Sunday was Hudson's Bible presentation at church. This is where they present the new babies in the church with their first Bible. You get to go up front at church and they say your baby's name and then the pastor prays for you and your family to raise up Hudson in the way of the Lord. It was a nice service and we pray we are able to raise up Hudson to be a Godly man. Papa B. got to come to the service and then we went to Chuuys after church for a yummy meal. Here's some pics of Hudson before the service, the fam and the actual service.

Valentines and other important things
Our Valentines was celebrated on Friday. We went out with the kids to Fuddruckers and had a good burger - a good kid friendly place for the fam. We made strawberry cupcakes for dessert. My honey gave me a Snuggie (don't laugh, I have wanted one for a very long time and I absolutely love it! You know you want one too!! My hubby listens to all my hints that I really, really wanted one - I love him sooo much!) He also gave me the Love Dare book for us to do together sometime. We watched Eagle Eye after the kids were in bed - a decent action flick. On actual Valentines we went to Brian's parents with the whole fam to spend the day.
A wonderful congratulations to my sis in law - Brian's sister - had her precious baby girl this Wed. - also Brian's dad's birthday! Her name is Ruthie Grace and she is doing great!
Well, here we go again! Lilly came home with the pink-eye from school on Thursday, oh my! Try putting eye drops in a two year old eye 3 times a day (kind of like wrestle mania!) After a few days on the drops, the redness is gone and she is not contagious anymore. Yeah!

Hudson pictures
Hudson had his first real pictures taken at our house yesterday and it went really well. Thank you to Shalonda for coming and for Nina to help with the pics and little Camdyn. If you want a sneak peak look at: www.chubbycheekphotography.com/blog - they are pretty cute.

Some firsts
We have some "firsts" for both kiddos this week.....
Hudson went to the nursery at church this Sunday. They said he was very good (not a crier) and just hung out and smiled.
We also took our first trip to the park as a new family. He seemed to like it,
what do you think?
He has also found his hands and sucks his fingers or whole fist (I think he is trying to suck his thumb, but can't figure out how to get it in his mouth).
Lilly moved to a toddler bed on Sunday. We got big girl sheets and a pillow and she was soooo excited to go to bed. She has stayed in her bed and slept all night just fine so far. Some new phrases for her are:
-See you later mom (or dad, not mommy or daddy anymore)
-See you in a minute
-It's so good
-I love it - yummy!
All in one volume - LOUD! (no matter if I tell her to be quiet or shhh, she is still very loud), I guess the term inside voice comes later, huh?

Last weekend
Last weekend we went to Tyler - we did not make it there over Christmas due to the sickies. We still somewhat have the sickies at our house - the green, runny nose monster will just not go away, or the kids are passing it back and forth, or Lilly is bringing it all home from MDO.
We celebrated my sis's b-day - yeah! It was so good to see her and my nieces/nephew! They loved playing with Lilly and Hudson!

The boy cousins - Drew and Hudson
Tyler cousins - Drew, Kaylee, and Allie
We also went to my good old friend from Tyler, one of the dear L7's - Neta and Jonathan (who I have also known pretty much my whole life). It was a sweet wedding and we are so glad they are married!
Hudson started a soy trial and I think it is causing some constipation - he just cries and cries when he needs to go -we are trying prune juice in the bottles and karo syrup - hopefully this will work soon! He can still make me smile though with his funny noises and smiley smiles! Please pray he starts to sleep more at night for all of us!
