5 months

Hudson is 5 months old now! He is growing so much and is so much fun! He is on a great schedule with feeding and sleeping and is pretty much content in between - he just takes it all in. Hudson can hold all kinds of objects (loves little plastic rings to chew on) and everything goes in his mouth if he gets ahold of it. He charms everyone with his wide open mouth smile and has started to really laugh (it is too funny!) He loves his exersaucer and swing and can almost sit by himself now, for a few seconds and then plops over! We started rice cereal and oatmeal - oatmeal is the preference so far, he is really not too enthused about either so far.

Hudson had a baby dedication/parent commitment service at church last Sunday - he did so good - just chewed on his fingers the whole time! Our families came to support us at the service and also went out to eat afterward - we had a fun day! Aunt Bethy, Uncle Johnny and Ruthie even got to spend the night with us!

We also had our last home visit from our social worker yesterday to complete our adoption process. It is so strange to think we were just in the beginning stages of adoption last year. The last step will be to go to court the beginning of June to finalize.
